We need a new peace movement, one that doesn't just oppose specific examples of unnecessary and immoral mililtarism but also articulates a path to the possibility of a world without war by the end of the 21st century.

But why should we wait 79 years? The path seems clear & it begins with the US. We need to demand that the US offer to the UN a global verifiable disarmament. Why can't this be at the top of the 'progressive' agenda today?
