The military industrial complex has so much undue influence on American foreign policy & the only way the situation will change is if We the People demand a fundamentally new conversation. #WagePeace

We need a new peace movement, one that doesn't just oppose specific examples of unnecessary and immoral mililtarism but also articulates a path to the possibility of a world without war by the end of the 21st century.

I appreciate the vision -- but I think we should really start with a foreign policy that simply recognizes that we don't need and shouldn't desire a global infrastructure of bases that are basically designed to kill anyone we want to anywhere on the planet within 25 minutes.

The reason they have so much influence, is our collective fear. until we allow ourselves to experience love, on its own terms, we will be stuck on the flip side. Frantically working to keep out the bad, instead of letting in the good. 💔

Let's shoot for by the end of the year rather than the century. I'm re reading this wonderful book that discusses how love can work as an accelerant for these sorts of things. I think mystical love can get us there and when it gets going.... everything is possible.
