The fact that Mitch McConnell feels the need to public assure everyone that the purpose of voter suppression laws is not to suppress votes, means: 1) oh yes they are, 2) Repubs are nervous that people can see that, and 3) our not taking it lying down is absolutely the right thing

Nobody is being disenfranchised. You have to have some form of ID to do *anything* in this country, why shouldn’t that apply to voting too? Why do you assume poor people are too helpless or stupid to get a simple ID? Seriously ignorant & bigoted on your part.
