Jeff Bezos could single-handedly make life fundamentally better (allow unions, fairer employee pay structure) for almost a million people without sacrificing anything in his own life. What a gift he could give to himself & to the world.(I wonder what #AmazonPR will say to that)

His gift to the world shut down businesses.

His he'd be regarded as one of the most important--in a good way--figures in American history. I thought narcissist liked that kind of thing. He could still live a pretty sweet life while doing good. It just baffles me. I guess I don't know how crazy people think.

Don't prop him up. Business should be localized not centralized. Break up #Monopoly #Amazon. #BoycottAmazon

Part of Bezos genius is in long game thinking (IMO) there is no way, he doesn’t see this scenario as the absolute benefit Amazon offers not just its profitability but to its supporters and employees, and the world it serves.

People fail to appreciate what drives these people. They literally see life through a Darwinian eat or be eaten lens. He's a Capitalist idealogue. Asking him to give up his power and advantage is like suggesting the Pope embrace atheism.

The irony is if he gave every one of his employees $1000 today the vast majority of it would be back in his pocket by next weekend. But rich people don't think that way, greed gets in the way of understanding the connect. Henry Ford knew this.

If he paid a decent wage and benefits, there would be no need for a Union.

He’s not obligated too.

Imagine the love energy he'd receive if he did the bare minimum by looking after his employees. Paid for their children's education. Buy them all a house and he'll still have enough to live the high life. Sad really. As my mother would say "He must know..."
