This is extraordinary and revealing. One of the most powerful politicians in the United States just said she’s going to break up an American company so that they can’t criticize her anymore.
I didn’t write the loopholes you exploit, @amazon – your armies of lawyers and lobbyists did. But you bet I’ll fight to make you pay your fair share. And fight your union-busting. And fight to break up Big Tech so you’re not powerful enough to heckle senators with snotty tweets.

No that’s not what she’s doing. She’s working to make sure your gigantic monopolistic power, so seemingly more exploitative and mendacious every single day, is finally repudiated for the sake of our democracy. #ThankYouElizabeth

Your opinion. So sticking with the theme you endorse, will you silence all who don’t agree with your opinion? It’s a slippery slope u r on. Own the outcome. 🤷🏻‍♂️
Elizabeth and you have your target set on the wrong enemy. Walmart and Amazon aren’t it. If you killed both, costs would balloon for the poorest among us. There is a reason they (and Costco) are loved by their customers. Focus on tax code instead. Higher ROI for working poor...
NO ! What she's doing is threatening to use her power as a Senator to harm a company so they won't say something she doesn't like. That is a degree of disregard and disrespect for the Constitution's 1st Amendment that rivals that of dictators.

Please explain why breaking up Amazon so it "can't heckle senators" is not breaking up an American company to stop it from criticizing politicians.

But it is what she said. She got her nose out of joint and started hugging & puffing in outrage and accidentally spoke the truth. She seems to forget that she’s a PUBLIC SERVANT and not the boss of us.

To replace it with another monopolistic organization masquerading as a democracy? If you can't choose another service provider is it democratic or monopolistic?

That is not what she said. At all.
