The mobility expert from the PA Assoc of the blind came to my house today. I touched a cane for the first time. We practiced walking w/ it, how to hold it, etc. She was very nice. She fitted me for my own white cane + put the order in. It’s solidified; I’m damaged goods.

No you are not!! The truth of who you are is not diminished one iota by this challenge. I know it’s a terrible shock to your system right now, but going through this is only going to make you more magnificent.

Tomorrow, the PA assoc of the blind is having a mobility expert come to my house to fit me for a white cane + practice how to use it-I’ve been very transparent about how traumatic this has all been, yet since my talk w/ @marwilliamson last night, I don’t feel as scared. 💜

Joy my love you are deserving of a healing session-- thoughts matter. I remember Marianne talking about aging and how you can alter that concept. lol I haven't celebrated a birthday since.
