I'm okay with the reality that people in this country have different life goals and different roles to play with their time on Earth. Some want the same ol same with predictable results. Some want something new.

Oh, no, it would still be. Poverty is obscene. Regardless of where it is. Poverty isn't a fact of life, it is caused by greed.

It's disgusting. I'm not rich, but I know plenty of people who are and it's so hard to watch how they live their lives from day to day. So wasteful and absolutely oblivious to how most people live.

An African classmate basically told me this in a public policy and poverty class. She couldn’t believe in a country that has so much, so many have so little.

So true. The performative politics are killing us. Sanders was the last timely solution, but the dnc and Obama had other ideas. Maybe we do deserve the politicians we get. Maybe we have to fall further to rise again.
