NEW: Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has signed SB202 into law, which removes the secretary of state as chair of the State Election Board, allows lawmakers to temporarily take over elections offices, and limits the number, location and access to secure drop boxes, among other changes.

We can't lose a democracy that we never had. America was never intended to be a representative nation for many. Instead of trying to add more states to this failure of a nation, we should be seceding from it en masse.

imo it won't be allowed to stand and it will hurt Republicans for even trying. dems will be flocking to the polls to stop Republicans. I don't feel safe in this country knowing 1 out of 2 of our political parties is anti-democracy/pro-fascism. I'm sure the feeling is widespread.

I live in Georgia and I am not surprised by this sadly. I wish we had rank choice voting. I am fully expecting them to go hard on gerrymandering as well. Dems didn't do so well down ballot here so they can pretty much draw up whatever they want
