NEW: Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has signed SB202 into law, which removes the secretary of state as chair of the State Election Board, allows lawmakers to temporarily take over elections offices, and limits the number, location and access to secure drop boxes, among other changes.

Numerous drop boxes all over voting precincts invites fraud, mischief by campaign opponents, and damage. Georgia’s decision affects GEORGIANS. What IS a threat to our REPUBLIC is HR1, a federal takeover of elections - preventing local laws like requiring an ID to vote

Copy/pasted from another tweet: A lot of these efforts by GOP to make voting difficult and suppress votes (example: trying to make voting day cutoff 5pm etc) could be solved in one minute. Make voting day a national paid holiday. By executive order. That's it.
