People who are forced to work at jobs they hate, desperate to keep that job even though it robs them of life-force more than it pays them in money, who nevertheless need it because it is the only way to survive, are in a very real way not free.

As opposed to a free world class education starting in preschool and going through either a 4 yr college or best technical school in the world, plus free healthcare. Then people are set up to win as long as they’re willing to work hard.

All due respect; that is a terrible response, Marianne. You just finished saying people can't be free when they are forced into employment and then said the solution is to force them into college before forcing them into employment. The answer is #UBI.
The foundational promise of #America was the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Without a right to food/shelter/healthcare... we do not have a right to life. If we are forced into jobs to access these, how are we free? It's time to live up to our ideals.
