People who are forced to work at jobs they hate, desperate to keep that job even though it robs them of life-force more than it pays them in money, who nevertheless need it because it is the only way to survive, are in a very real way not free.

I'm self-employed, and I feel this way... I've had to lower my prices from making $15-$20/hour to $10, so I can compete with overseas sweatshops because, unlike most of Europe, the USA doesn't hold international orders and charge individuals high customs fees.

Most people have half of their life stolen from them to make someone else rich. A better world is possible but we have to fight for it, and that entails more than voting
