Our system could be set up differently, so we could occasionally take time off work for up to a year, then go back college, or do the house up, or relax, and not lose our homes, or livelihoods. We could do less hours at work. Michael Rowbotham explains. youtube.com/rzqDEBHPwcs

Hate em or not. Jobs are a necessary evil. Gotta eat & pay bills. OR. Go live in a cave & BBQ skunk. 🤗😎

Louder for the people in the back, momma! It’s a sad, sorry state. And it contributes to depression and desperation. It’s a real problem that needs solving.

In fact, they are modern-day slaves.
True, but also, You are not free in ANY job where you have to work 8 hours just to maintain. Which would mean all “jobs” are a form of slavery. “Jobs” should pay enough in 4 hours to pay for a family of 4 or they are just slavery under another name. Let’s stop pretending.

A lot of those jobs at fast food restaurants and big box stores might be less awful, maybe even enjoyable, if performed in the context of a worker-owned cooperative #WorkerOwnedCoops
