People who are forced to work at jobs they hate, desperate to keep that job even though it robs them of life-force more than it pays them in money, who nevertheless need it because it is the only way to survive, are in a very real way not free.

You are totally right! I had to work in an establishment that degraded my emotional/physical/spiritual well-being on the daily. I would have to scream & throw rocks at the side of the house before I came in after work Otherwise, I would find myself yelling at my Family

I just said this today. People stay in their miserable jobs for healthcare benefits, etc & if they get cancer, especially living in a red state with no expanded Medicaid, have to basically keep working until they die. I’ve found this out the hard way by having terminal cancer.

You've just described the vast majority of American workers. Most have been made into debt slaves. And more are waking up to that fact.

I gotta remember this feeling because I never want to be in that situation again. It is the WORST!

For all of those saying “well nobody forces them to work jobs they hate” that’s right. No PERSON forces them, FEAR forces them. Fear of homeless and starvation force them. Capitalism is about coercion through fear not motivation through incentives
