People who are forced to work at jobs they hate, desperate to keep that job even though it robs them of life-force more than it pays them in money, who nevertheless need it because it is the only way to survive, are in a very real way not free.

I’d argue that if you don’t at least try to be your own boss you are willingly giving up your own freedom. As an author, surely you understand this.

I do understand this. That’s the point. I do understand how fortunate I am, and that there’s no reason why everyone should not have the opportunities afforded me.

As opposed to a free world class education starting in preschool and going through either a 4 yr college or best technical school in the world, plus free healthcare. Then people are set up to win as long as they’re willing to work hard.
