The 2nd Amendment does not discriminate against types of firearms. It protects all firearms. Our founding fathers owned warships.

It guarantees the right to a well-regulated militia. A dude walking into a grocery store with an assault weapon and killing ten people isn't well-regulated, is it?

Nor should the Second Amendment be a foundation for criminal behavior, societal threats or fuel for insurrections.
