Umm no.. The founding fathers gave us the 2nd amendment to protect all the rights they gave to us. Stop trying to change our constitution and take away rights.. those are things an oppressive government does.

The 2A conversation is a very tall hill to climb. The hill that is far taller and far steeper is the 600 million guns already in the USA. Some huge number of them are referred to as 'Assault' weapons. It is remarkably impractical to climb both hills.
