The 2nd is about a well regulated militia. Nothing more. Reading it any other way is a false interpretation that was never decided by any Supreme Court before the right wing takeover and the set-up 2008 case followed by the 2010 case. It was a bought and paid for case for profit.

“Well regulated militia” = national guards for each state. Not the police, not the public. The exceptions I’d make are ranchers & those who need a gun to hunt for food. Even then, they get a psych evaluation, and full background check including speaking with family/friends.
