This is a bad position. Way more people die from non-AR homicides than otherwise. Handguns are the best murder weapon. But it seems like most people don't actually think black lives matter if they want to specifically ban the weapons that rarely kill black people.

Actually, the 2nd doesn't protect the right to own a gun. Scalia had to bend over backwards to come up with that insanity. Check out the dissenting opinion in the Heller case.

As a 72-year-old mother & grandmother.what I’d like to see is yes, go door-to-door and take away every gun. Then start over and only those who pass a stringent background check will be issued one. Melt all the others down and use it for bridges or construction. That’s my image
