At the deepest level, establishment forces don’t have such a problem giving money to the poor; they have a problem giving power to the poor. Subconsciously they fear a retribution that in their hearts they feel they deserve.

It has always been about power, and really, the insecurity of its absence. Like an insatiable beast, those who seek it don't know when to stop preying on those who are denied. In the end, however, being powerful is an inside job of opening to the truth of who we are, rich or poor
