How can Jeff Bezos make $77B during the pandemic yet deny his workers sick and hazard pay, plus try to make it hard for Amazon workers to unionize? His being “charitable” doesn’t make up for that. No amount of private charity can compensate for a basic lack of economic justice.

I don’t think he’s even privately charitable. The most money he’s “donated” was for his own venture to space, which he will surely profitize. This man has no soul.

What about Bill Gates and the rest of them? He isn't the only one in this country who is that way? What about places like Walmart that make employees take 2 hour lunch breaks so they don't have to pay the extra time change hours?

It is obvious to become rich, one has to take money from others, some prefer to take it indirectly without other’s knowledge, some with knowledge. Apparently if it is ‘indirect’ we do not object.
