How can Jeff Bezos make $77B during the pandemic yet deny his workers sick and hazard pay, plus try to make it hard for Amazon workers to unionize? His being “charitable” doesn’t make up for that. No amount of private charity can compensate for a basic lack of economic justice.

This is why we need a much higher minimum wage. The wealthy will not pay a living wage to their employees unless they are forced to do so. So force them! And tax them!

Because you're talking about an increase in wealth due to rising stock prices. With interest rates at zero, housing market going crazy, bonds worthless, the only place for people to put $ to make $ is the stock market, leading to a positive feedback loop
