If the Democrats don’t get rid of the filibuster they won’t be able to accomplish things they promised, which will lead them to lose power to the Republicans. Once Republicans have the power, they will do to the Democrats all the things they’re now warning Dems not to do to them

After watching this performance for 30 years, I can say with confidence that the dems don't want to fulfill any of their promises. They never have.

Has it ever occured to us that maybe these two parties belong in the same club of parasites and are just playing their voters and supporters?

I’m pretty sure that’s what they want. They are paid by their donors to lose and the filibuster gives them the out to say “there was nothing we could do”, just like they used the Parliamentarian to say they couldn’t raise the minimum wage to $15. #BidenLies

The filibuster is essential in a republic

Why didn’t the Republicans get rid of the filibuster when Trump was president then?

Democrats own all three branches of government. if they are not doing your bidding why the heck do you blame the filibuster? Your logic baffles me. It really does.

Marianne, you’re a wonderful person, but you need to know that the filibuster is not the problem; it’s what the Dems purposely fail to do

Republicans had the option to do this but didn’t. Maybe the way it should be is try working together. Democrats don’t want to work w Republicans n this is why they have to take away the filibuster. It’s not about accomplishment it’s about working together. Not being selfish.
