If the Democrats don’t get rid of the filibuster they won’t be able to accomplish things they promised, which will lead them to lose power to the Republicans. Once Republicans have the power, they will do to the Democrats all the things they’re now warning Dems not to do to them

Sadly Biden ***wants to keep the filibuster*** (and I’m betting Kamala does as well). They are essentially elected lobbyists for the moneyed interests that benefit from “nothing fundamentally changing”.

On call with Biden tonight, Warnock argued that passing voting legislation is more important than keeping filibuster, per source. Biden contended that the bill is important but they need to pressure GOP and get votes to pass it (which they don’t have). cnn.com/2021/03/22/politics/…

i favor return to jimmy stewart style filibuster, force them to talk incessantly. papers will cover it, and eventually it stops. or, whenst under 40 obstructionists, take a quick vote. republicans probably will steal power anyway, and no filibuster would be the end.

Without question! Pretty simple math. I get that Sleepy’s not cogent enough to understand it, but how do his handlers and all the other elected Dems not see the clear writing in the wall? Will be blood bath in ‘22 & ‘24...and scarily too late to do anything after that.
