2/ Keep your eye on @jontester, who is re-introducing bills to create a constitutional amendment that would overturn the Citizens United decision and declare that corporations are not people. Until then, corporations and billionaires will influence our government more than we do.

Given the current make up of the SCOTUS Citizens United will not going to be overturned anytime soon. But as soon as it’s a liberal Supreme Court again, it will be the first thing to go.

Do they have the will to actually pack the court? Because they could. End the filibuster and get to ACTUAL fucking working, not this song and dance bullshit. Great American rescue program... pointless if I’m waiting months for CA EDD to get the money flowing again

I mean check out our manipulated financial markets. It’s everywhere. The corruption is killing this nation, the promise it’s made to its people means little at this point, just empty words.
