So much of the current consciousness of humanity is dense, greedy and fear-based that extending it to the stars doesn’t seem like such a generous interplanetary act to me. More like every colonizer’s delusion. But perhaps he will find something lighter out there and bring it back

Agreed! He can’t extend the light of consciousness where the light already is. Yes, he needs to bring some here instead. He can’t see that our Kingdom is here, this is the one to fight for and protect like the King he thinks he is.

some additional aspects: 1) a compelling business case requires the threat of the destruction of life on Earth 2) colonialists need soldiers to protect them slaves to do their work priests to make you’ll believe Mars as the 22nd century Jamestown, VA

So we should extinguish all that's good with humanity too? Isn't that throwing the baby with the bath water?

you could argue it’s our responsibility to extend the consciousness to the stars no matter what. from what we know, it’s quite special and sure‘d be a waste to just sit here until we’re hit by a meteor or engulfed by the sun :-)

If you go by Twitter. But I am not going by that. There are so many people that are working toward the upliftment of our earth. They just don’t speak out on Twitter. I was just in a circle yesterday and another one a week ago where women are working toward a better world.
