2/ Keep your eye on @jontester, who is re-introducing bills to create a constitutional amendment that would overturn the Citizens United decision and declare that corporations are not people. Until then, corporations and billionaires will influence our government more than we do.

Congressional term limits would be a good start. Everyone should consider only voting for Reps and Senators who promise to vote for such limits.

Wanna get $ out of politics? Get the gov't out of our lives! If the gov't has no favors to sell, no one will be able to buy them. The extent to which the government has power over our lives is the extent to which $ will be in politics.
