Rand Paul is one of very few members of either party who doesn't think the purpose of the United States is forever war in far-off lands.

You realize the Democrats threw more money at trying to defeat Mitch McConnell than any other race in the country and didn't even get close? And most of Kentucky, even the Republicans, hate him. They don't stand a chance upending @RandPaul...but Democrats do like wasting money...
