A matrix of huge, soulless and predatory corporate entities is not the basis of a strong economy; it’s a sprawling, parasitic infection on the body of humanity. It is not that which serves us, it’s that which threatens us.

My God, Marianne, you can say it like it is! :)
Yet you support the party of those predatory corporate entities, the Democratic Party. You vote in the politicians of those predatory corporate entities, Biden/Harris. You keep empowering the political tools of those predatory corporate entities. You are the problem.

Thank you for continuing to share your clarity. It is transformative if it’s brilliance is heeded.

It is incredibly pleasant to see a high-profile political figure say this. You are completely correct, and anyone arguing against it is in a deep version of Stockholm syndrome

It’s soulless, perhaps, but we the public seem to have been willing participants! We willingly give our private data to social media, we order cheap goods from Amazon with the touch of a finger for next day delivery, without a thought of the impact on labor and nature.

We must make corporations mortal, so that they are not held higher than or equal to humans in the eyes of the law.

Holy cow! You make it sound like a corporation is the terminator T-1000 or worse! What part of "corporations are people too!" did you NOT get from SCOTUS' 2010 ruling? And if corporations ARE heartless, soulless, cruel entities - why can the same NOT be said about gubmint?!
