Every public school in America should be a palace of a culture, learning and the arts. The fact that that seems to anyone like a pipe dream is a measure of how disconnected we are as a society from the values that should guide us.

And bullying and torturing smaller, weaker kids. Their learning drops to zero because they live in fear every second everyday. Public schools are a jungle.

HomeEc & Shop too. Both classes taught life skills and practical uses for reading & math

Agree! But they would have to be set up for success. No more than 10 kids per class, include the community & add much more funding.
