The majority of our educational funding is still based on property taxes. The denial of a world-class education to every child is a passive form of oppression.

A prime example of how the establishment of Blacks as an undereducated poverty class with slavery/Jim Crow has been sustained institutionally. #InstitutionalRacism

The Homestead Act of 1862 created a white land owning class prior to the emancipation of Blacks into a tenant class. Wealthy Whites who built housing projects get tax abatements, paying virtually nothing in property tax & leaving schools where Black people live/rent, underfunded.

Money has nothing to do with quality of education. Baltimore is top 5 in money spent on ed. but 98th out 100 in performance. It's the curriculum. Stop teaching kids to be "woke" and go back to just reading, writing and arithmetic.
