Kids aren’t old enough to vote so they represent no constituency; not old enough to work so they have no financial leverage. Their needs r neglected on levels we don’t even begin to grapple with as a society; we see the consequences all around us but refuse to address their cause

What are you talking about? Kids can work at 14. You think they should get a vote? Kids brains are still developing up until their mid-20's. Until then are more easily manipulated. Is that your intention? Give impressionable kids a right to vote so you can tell them how to vote?

"We see consequences all around us but refuse to address their cause"... It takes someone with a special intelligence to see beyond the surface of events ... to see the reasons behind the way things are ... without that depth of thinking ... nothing significant will ever be done.

Same with unborn babies, but you have no problem killing them

Maybe their parents, who have legal financial and moral responsibility for them, might be able to represent and care for their needs?

I think it is unfortunate that kids are brought into the world be awful parents, but come on, society is giving everyone a pass these days for their bad choices. You want govt to practically nanny children... it isn’t working.
The US is the only country not to recognize the rights of children. aclu.org/blog/human-rights/t…

Kids need to be kids, and taught his to be proper adults. Today's kids are nowhere near where those in the 50s and 60s were, intellectually
