We don’t have to think in terms of fighting an old order; we can think in terms of giving birth to a new one. It’s a different psychological and emotional orientation & makes a tremendous difference in our ability to sustain the energy needed to withstand the labor pains involved

I love this. I’ve been in this fight for a long time, and people ask me how I don’t get burnt out and jaded, and I try to articulate that I am focused on what needs to be accomplished. There are no obstacles, only challenges to overcome. #NotMeUs

I believe it's easier to grow starting in a good, healthy environment rather than a toxic one. Inherited problems from the past are best severed early.

The catch? Doing the latter requires doing the former, specifically BECAUSE of the Old Order and it's leaders actively obstructing progress at every turn.

I share this same perspective--we are birthing something new. Labor is work and it is painful. There are contractions, and there can be rest and breathing in between each one. Feel it, work, push, rest, breathe. Keep going.
