I’m thinking of Asian children just old enough to understand what’s going on and asking their parents tonight “Are we going to be OK?” May a blanket of blessing and protection surround them all.

That just breaks my heart. I am immigrant, too, and it is already so damn hard to live in this country as a non-white immigrant, and this makes it a lot worse.

yes monad, main stream media is taking an interest in asian crime now, (for a reason) think of all those asians killed during the rodney king riots, not a peep out of the media
