When you're young you're rambunctious and you don't understand why we're not changing the world RIGHT NOW! When you're middle-aged you get all "Well, you know, things do take time and they're really very complicated." When you're older you get like WHAT THE F ARE WE WAITING FOR?!

Perfectly summed up. During middle age, the family pressure also outweighs our ‘will make the change’ character. In old age, it is more of frustration that weighs. The fact that no one, including self did anything to make things better makes you on short-fuse.

Yes...There is a radical impatience when one gets older -- "Can't anyone see what is happening?" "Why is this taking place all over again?" You have nailed the feeling, sister !!!

I wish that were true. I'm older and many of my contemporaries have an "I've got mine", and "those entitled lazy kids" attitude.

Regardless of age, we need to act immediately on what we need to change in ourselves. If you want to change the world, you need to change yourself first.
