When you're young you're rambunctious and you don't understand why we're not changing the world RIGHT NOW! When you're middle-aged you get all "Well, you know, things do take time and they're really very complicated." When you're older you get like WHAT THE F ARE WE WAITING FOR?!

Im 65 and Ive been pretty solidly in the third phase for twenty five years now. I think I may have actually skipped the second phase. Bernie was my last hope but the Democrats cheated him. Our corrupt political parties are why we can’t have nice things.

My theory is that people around that age loose the urgency of living in poverty. Being a college student and not affording anything gives you urgency to create a world where you can. finally having money still makes you want change but removes the struggle

I’m not sure I’ve ever been in anything but that third stage.
