Marianne you know that they are not even doing that!!! The poverty line has not changed in 20 years. They are maybe cutting it by 15% and only for a bit.

No it's not, but half of America doesn't even want to do that just that! We all have neighbors who do not care and do not have empathy! When do we start to point the finger at the constituents represented by politicians?

Poverty does not happen naturally, it is fully man made and can be eradicated if people really want to. Poverty is big biz tho.

Rising inequality is directly related to the persistent poverty that families across the country face; if all families’ incomes had grown at the average rate, poverty would have been significantly lower. The real issue is inequality.
