They brag about cutting childhood poverty in half as though that’s the best they can do. No it is not the best they can do.

It's not even permanent. So all that poverty comes right back once these policies expire. It's a joke.

It is not the best that can be done, but it's the best this current cast of characters can do. What a bunch of self-interested people!

I know. I feel we should be supportive of what they’re doing right at the moment. Too much criticism misses the good this will do. Sorry, I love you, but Joe does need support r n

PS I haven’t heard once this is the best “they” can do!! I’ve heard, this is a start, and we’re making it permanent. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Our money (untold billions) buys jets to fly over Syria & drop bomb$ on people. More of those billion$ are spent on tanks to roll around policing Syria while we admittedly steal their oil & drive it to Iraq where we're building MORE bases. I'm a bit nauseous, now. I'm sorry..

And it's not permanent, which means full childhood poverty will return when their vaunted tax credit runs out.

If children don't want to be in poverty, maybe they should just get jobs
