The two most successful revolutionary movements of the 20th century were non-violent ones: Gandhi and the Indian Independence Movement; and MLK Jr. and the American civil Rights movement. Non-violence does not mean non- strength.

If the people fighting the machine aren't grounded in compassion, how are they different from the machine? How can they imagine and create a better society if they don't focus first and continuously on who and what they are fighting for?
