Unfortunately it would cut into the profit margin of the donor class. They expect a return on their investment. Until we make legalized corruption illegal things will not change dramatically and solutions that are eminently practical will continue to sound radical and marginal.

Another way to help ppl, nationalize Powerball and Mega millions lotteries and make it so instead of 1 person winning 500 mil, make it so Many 1000s of ppl winning a few grand on a $3 ticket. Spain does it why cant we. It would be an enormous economic boost to each local economy.
