None of these things are locked up by these industries, they are locked up by endemic corruption in the Democratic party.

Healthcare debate locked up by health insurance companies. Foreign policy debate locked up by military industrial complex. Political debate locked up by the corporate duopoly. Climate debate locked up by Big Oil. The list goes on. Face it, but then consider: There is another way.

I think James has a good point; even when Democrats held complete control they have fully supported: health insurance companies, the military industrial complex, dirty energy. And their donors have as well

The real problem is that they deflect activist energy as well, people invest years in getting rid of the GOP only to find out Democratic politicians have been lying about their intentions, and then the GOP wins again and the cycle repeats, and people go decades without reform.
