We’re putting the fight against Covid on a “war footing” because it threatens rich people as well as poor. We’re *not* putting the fight against poverty, inadequate healthcare, lack of education, or environmental or criminal injustice on a “war footing” because it doesn’t.

Maybe not even because the disease could infect the rich, but instead because it disrupts their income from poor workers. The rich can already hole up in estates and be fully isolated. But COVID has hindered exploitation and they can't have that!

It does threaten rich people, they’re just not waking up yet to the fact that a hundred million people have no buy-in w the current system, and nothing to lose but their overheelming debts both personal and national.

If the establishment brought anyone out of poverty, the Dems would lose all their constituents. They have to keep them poor, uneducated, and sick or they don’t have a purpose Seriously, what’s the goal? We saw what happened when a president created prosperity..they crushed him🤔
