The relief bill will keep millions of people from drowning. But it doesn’t even begin to restructure our economy so that the well-being of people is placed before the well-being of corporations. American lives are constantly sacrificed at the altar of greed and it needs to stop.

"Greed is good". Just the fact the Orange Nightmare was elected shows you the average person doesn't care or at least has bought into the right wing marketing effort to turn democratic socialism into a bad word. Education needs to be a higher priority than the "war machine".

I live in a liberal and very wealthy county in CA. When it comes time for people to put their $ where their mouth is, they don’t. It’s incredibly disheartening but human greed & selfishness is very real.

Honestly, we could really use reoccurring payments to help us from drowning. Yes, this payment of 1400 is a blessing but most people really do not know that this money only scrapes the surface. We need to give people a solid foundation on which to build for future opportunities
