There is something deeply cynical about this tweet; given the pandemic, these people should be receiving that $1400 every month. I don’t find the video inspiring; I find it heartbreaking.

It's sad that millions families were left out of Biden's stimulus checks that received previous checks.

I mean particularly since we have been in a year long crisis and the last person indicated clearly it would help for one month

I didn't initially notice that the retweet was from the Presidential account. I went right to the video. If I were @POTUS, I would be asking......"and what do these people do once this month is over; go back to the struggles? It's been a year!" Agreed - heartbreaking.

Heartbreaking is the only word you could use for this. It's an indictment of a government, and a system, that has failed its people. The "folks" are in so much trouble -- and it's hard to see an end to the stress and sorrow any time soon.

Didn’t other countries give about $2000/mo?

Heartbreaking indeed. Should be $2k/mo.

If the 1.9 trillion would have been divided by the entire U.S population 331. million, each American would have gotten 5740 $. If the stimulus as only 1400 per person, how got the rest?

As always, you are correct and you inspire me. I only wish our leaders could see your point of view!
