There is something deeply cynical about this tweet; given the pandemic, these people should be receiving that $1400 every month. I don’t find the video inspiring; I find it heartbreaking.
The American Rescue Plan’s $1,400 checks will start going out as early as this weekend. Here’s how folks plan to use theirs:

These folks sound like $1400 will help immensely but the fact that they were and will continue to be in dire straits is infuriating.

It is just a bit less dystopian than the "Brave girl sells cookies so that mom can get brain surgery" headline. The difference here is that Biden has a responsibility, but in both cases it tries to frame something horrific in a feel-good tone to normalize what is horrific.

You know what really sucks? The “stimulus” payments are not protected from debt collectors! So the mom looking to purchase food for her kids and pay the light bill or even the single woman with hefty medical bills may not even see a stimulus and they will continue to suffer 😔

This is the real economy. Millions of Team America seized in a state of inertia due to a lack of liquidity.

In the video, most mention how they're looking forward to paying their bills (*hint hint*)... if only that were the worst of our problems. Like that woman of colour said, first the money has to go toward giving her kids food. It's about staying alive.
