If the Dems are going to kill the filibuster, they better go big and use it effectively to help Americans. Half measures will only give the senate back to the GOP, with the rule change in place for THEM to abuse.

Will it though? Every rule, and every rule change put there for the short term benefit of one party will eventually get used by the opposing party. If the filibuster is wrong on general principles, eliminate it. Otherwise, it's not the problem.

Funny how Democrats are only calling for the end of the filibuster when they’re in power. The filibuster has a purpose. So that one party is not forcing their agenda on the American people.

True. We are at the point of no return. If we don't kill filibuster, Trumpism one day will take over and this time maybe we are not that lucky.
