Building consensus and negotiating are dying political skills, but necessary for our democratic republic. The filibuster ensures that 51% can’t cram down decisions on the 49%.

P.S.
In a broad sense, we must improve the international & democratic means to sharply limit the possibility of using weapons of mass destruction at the evil will of any person
It already has dented it. Have you not noticed how damaging the "Filibuster" has been since the early 20th century? Mast. Mitch is the single biggest abuser of it and the biggest liar in the Senate
Truly, it’s coming into clearer and clearer focus: the filibuster is being used as a tool of injustice. And people ought to wage peace by raising noisy righteous hell in the home districts of elected leaders who rely on this Senate rule to protect an unjust and ugly status quo!!
Filibuster reform is actually much better than abolishing it. Frankly, the Dems shouldn't desire to remove something that will help them past 22' when they'll be a permanent minority for fucking over voters.
