Much to my dismay, I had to delete a picture of a starling. Someone told me it was mean and when I looked it up I saw this verified, so I couldn’t bear to put anything mean on my thread. I will be back momentarily with the sweetest most beautiful bird I can find.

All birds can be mean and are mean, even doves. Ask any ornithologist. You are a romantic idealist. (That’s why you stand no chance of winning any political office.) But a decent polity needs people like you. Of course some starlingers will call you a racist of the avian kind.
