Abolition came from the Abolitionist Party; Women’s suffrage came from the Women’s Party; Social Security came from the Socialist Party. Third parties have historically been extremely important in the US and we need to protect them. HR1 should be amended. peoplesparty.org/response-hr…

When I ran for Congress in ‘14 I ran as an Independent - long been aware of the issues involved. Also wrote about it in “Healing the Soul of America.” G. Washington warned us against political parties; said they’d form factions more interested in their party than their country.

Why haven't you joined us in the #GreenParty, @marwilliamson? There's no point in starting a new party from ground zero as the world burns around us. I doubt you disagree with our platform, so what gives? Time to show the political courage to be a true voice of the resistance.
