Are you dropping a hint Marianne that you are going to defect from Democrat to something new?

When I ran for Congress in ‘14 I ran as an Independent - long been aware of the issues involved. Also wrote about it in “Healing the Soul of America.” G. Washington warned us against political parties; said they’d form factions more interested in their party than their country.

Agreed, independent of whether or not that's realistic and independent of the People Party's grift to capitalize on hate without coming up with any real solutions or methods for change.

People's Party is not a 3rd party, it's a major new party. You'd know that if you cared about anything more than platitudes and pandering. Never heard your voice on any of the National calls for 4 years... empty suit.

thank you for tweeting this statement about the HR1 bill . It is hard to read everything that goes through congress as a working poor person ...i'm busy trying to just survive out here. This truly helped me alot. I will share it far and wide for others to read it too!

Should be renamed the duopoly act. They are very good at writing laws that protect their power. While you point out many parts that hurt alternative parties you fail to criticize those parts that are designed to help one party.

Isn't it interesting how blind we all can sometimes be ... Intelligent people write a bill based on two political parties (because that's what we have now) ... and not even consider that someday there could be multiple politial parties.
