Every public school in America should be a palace of learning, culture, and the arts. These are the kinds of changes we should be thinking about for the post Covid era. We should massively front end our resources in the direction of childhood.

The amount paid in taxes per child, per school district, should be given to the parents, to send their child to any school they wish. Seems to me, anyone who is pro-choice would be for this.

Right, but isn't educational attainment massively correlated to home environment? My recollection -- and I could be wrong -- is that experiments that focused solely on massive spending to fix schools resulted in underwhelming outcomes.
